DuPont Teijin Films is delighted that once again the high standard of
quality and products manufacturered at the site in Dumfries and Luxembourg
have been awarded the Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials
BRC/IoP Technical Standard was established to provide a global reference
for the manufacture of packaging and packaging materials for use in food
and non-food applications. The standard is designed to protect consumers
and provide a common basis for the audit and supply of all components for
food packaging to retailers and, whilst originally intended for UK
packaging companies, it is now established as a standard across Europe and
Globally. DTF were one of the first suppliers to apply for and achieve
registration in February 2002 and have continuously been registered since
that time.
