DuPont Teijin Films are proud to have been shortlisted for one of the UK’s most prestigious packaging awards, the Institute of Materials’ Starpack Award for the unique LuxCR™ depolymerisation process which “upcycles” post consumer waste into a variety of technically advanced BOPET films.

Steve Davies, EMEA packaging market manager for DTF said: “It’s a great honour to be short listed for such an award and it is a fitting recognition of the hard work put in by the cross functional team encompassing R&D, manufacturing and product stewardship since the start of the project”

The relaunch of the Starpack Industry Awards is focused on the innovation behind the development of packaging while also highlighting the importance of the people involved in its creation. This year will also focus on technical innovation, on how well the packaging performs its task and meets its brief, differentiating Starpack from its competitors.

The Starpack Awards are well recognised across many sectors of the packaging industry, the ceremony takes place in London on 27th June 2019.
