IFE 2013 was another successful exhibition for DuPont Teijin Films Europe.
The Innovation in Cooking stand attracted almost 50% more visitors than the previous show in 2011 with enquiries from the whole value chain across Europe. It was also the chance to launch the newest member of the specialty packaging range Mylar® SKIN, the world's first ovenable skin film development.
Across the 4 day show our resident chef showed how cooking in Mylar® polyester films has a multitude of benefits including reduced cooking time, enhanced flavours and less packaging waste. Many visitors sampled a wide variety of food which was available on stand and all cooked in Mylar® polyester films using different techniques such as flow wrap, bags/pouches and ovenable packs, as well as the chance to sample food cooked in Mylar® SKIN. Our dedicated technical and marketing teams were on hand to offer expert advice and guidance.
